Design Craft 2012 was a success! Thanks to everyone who came out- I really appreciate the support. As an artist, I always look for opportunities to share my work with as many people as possible and yesterday was an ideal opportunity. I also look for ways to improve what I do and I was able to have meaningful conversations with so many different people from different facets of the Design industry in Houston.
My plan is to do at least 3 outdoor art festivals per year from now on with the International Festival in March as the next outdoor art event that I'm planning for. Before that, I will be the featured artist in the Black Heritage Festival (indoor art event) from January to March of 2013. I will have a solo exhibition of my artwork at the Central School Arts and Humanities Center in Downtown Lake Charles, La. I'm honored to be a part of such a special event in my hometown and I look forward to the opportunity to share my artwork and see a lot of familiar faces.
